  Personal Details
My name is Olusanjo Fadiya and I am a PhD student at the School of Engineering & Built Environment, University of Wolverhampton. The focus of my research is to develop an ICT-based logistics framework for the construction industry.
Purpose of Survey
Having researched the various problems of logistics process in the construction industry and the available information and communication technologies (ICT) solution, the need to develop multi-criterion analysis tool for the evaluation of the ICT devices has been identified given the significant differences in the costs and benefits of such devices as radio frequency identification device (RFID), global positioning system (GPS), geographical information system (GIS), inertial navigation system (INS) and wireless sensors network system (WSN). I therefore require vital data from practitioners which will be used to measure the importance weights of identified attributes. The attributes which are the cost and benefits of the aforementioned ICT systems include Capital cost of ICT, annual cost of ICT, data accuracy, waste reduction, theft mitigation, material availability, material recovery, accident reduction, reliable lead-time and delivery reliability.
Confidentiality
All data collected will be stored on computer files for analysis. These files will only be accessible by me and my supervisory team and all the data files will be destroyed after the completion of the study.
