We have been talking about ‘virtual reference service’ from almost two decades. Now, with open access to information and applications of web 2.0 technologies in the library system put librarians on their toes to serve the user community. Since speed and growth in all the profession lead users to look for spontaneous and authentic help from the libraries. Even in availability of very less information resources, librarians are putting their best efforts to serve the users more promptly inspite of much encouragement from their office authorities.
