INFORMATION
Thank you for taking part in this study. You must be aged 18 OR OVER to do so.
This study is being conducted by Dr Alison Attrill from De Montfort University. It requires you to complete a series of questions about how you share information about yourself on the internet.
All of your answers will be confidential and anonymous. No identifying information will be recorded and once submitted, your data cannot be traced back to you. Please note that by completing the survey, you are giving your full and informed consent to the data being added to an overall data set for analysis and potential academic publication.
Only I as the researcher and any Student Research Officers contributing to the study as part of the De Montfort University Research Experience Scheme will have access to the overall data set. All raw data will be securely stored on a password protected computer.
Please note that I am unable to give feedback on individual performance, but you are welcome to contact me if you wish to know more about the aims of the work.
You can withdraw from this study at any time and for any reason without any adverse consequences. If you wish to withdraw during your participation, please either just click the 'quit' button or close your web browser. Once submitted, I will not be able to eliminate your data as I will not be able to link it back to you.
It shouldn't take too long to complete the study, but there is no set time limit. Just answer as spontaneously and honestly as you can. It is also important to note that there are no correct or incorrect answers to any of the statements included in the study. Rather, I am interested in your honest opinions/behaviours.
If you have any questions about the study, please do not hesitate to contact me:
