A parent is always in control of the child/ren's behaviour. Children should always obey their parents.
It does not matter who is in control of the child/ren's behaviour. S/he can manage for themselves.
A child should always be in control of their behaviour. They should be able to do what they want to do.
It is both the responsibility of the parent and child/ren's to decide what is right or wrong.

If your child/ren has done something wrong, what do you do?

A measured punishment explaining my reason for punishing the child/ren but not harsh.
The child should be punished so s/he will not repeat the mistake. Something equivalent to a slap.
My child/ren should be allowed to make mistakes as it is upto them.
It does not matter if they have done something wrong, it does not concern me.
